Smart Finder was founded in 1997, Thailand. The company provides smart IT solutions for hotel and related businesses.

Nowadays, it’s been funded and supported by an international venture fund from Singapore (SEA Group – Garena Venture) with the mission to improve the abilities to develop more advanced hospitality technology and solutions to fulfil increasing demands in the hospitality industry.

Smart Finder was founded in 1997 by Mr. Soros Raktham, a professional hotelier who had over 10 years’ experience in renowned hotels such as Hilton, Hyatt and Amari. He chose the name “Smart Finder” to mean “the one who finds the smart way to do business” – and Smart Finder has been helping hoteliers to do precisely that for the last 18 years. Before creating Smart Finder, Soros had wondered why existing hotel management systems were so difficult to use. Why were they more of a hindrance than a help to hoteliers trying to achieve excellence? Might there be a smarter way for hoteliers to work? That was when Soros decided to start his company, with one intention in mind: “to find smarter ways to improve hospitality businesses.”
